I’m still confused about how the milk trade under USMCA will work. There will be American milk in my local grocery store? With hormones in it? Or will American dairy producers have to comply with Canadian regulations? Will it be marked “made in the USA” so people can just… not buy it?

Whether Canada will continue to enforce its more stringent dairy requirements, or whether Canada will relax those requirements in order to allow American dairy into the Canadian market.

From what I’ve heard, American Dairy will not be labelled with country of origin.

If you are worried, look for this symbol it will be on any milk product made in Canada by Canadian dairy farmers. To boycott US dairy don’t buy any dairy that doesn’t have this label, or has no country of origin on the product.
