I also did some recent Cassandra Cain sketches. I wanted to imagine her using the Batman toolset a bit more. She’s always pigeonholed as the “martial artist” and purely about fists and punching and kicking. And yeah, she’s supposed to be the literal BEST at it in the entire Batman mythos. But that sorta limits the things you get to do with her, when she’s also a superbly trained assassin AND pupil of Batman and Batgirl.

So why not mix some more of the Bat tools into the fighting. In a pinch the Batarangs could be re purposed as knives or punching knives. And I like the idea of using the Grapplehook as a whip/flail. I’m not sure how to do it but I’d like to try a smoke canister utilized in close range fighting for disorienting opponents.
