From the Facebook pages of Project Coyote/Classic Cars USA:
Last week on my way to work in the early morning, a coyote darted in front of my car and I hit it. I heard a crunch and believed I ran over and killed it. Upon stopping at a traffic light by my work, a construction woman notified me that there was in fact a coyote still embedded in my car. When I got out to look, this poor little guy was looking up and blinking at me. I notified Alberta fish and wildlife enforcement right away who came to rescue him. Miraculously, he was freed and had minimal injuries despite having hitched a ride from Airdrie to Calgary at highway speeds! Their biologist checked him over and gave him the good to go. They released him in Kananaskis. Clearly mother nature has other plans for this special little guy! -Georgie Knox
FOOD CHAIN, BABYYYyYyy
“there was in fact a coyote still embedded in my car”
She remembers the night she visited the curio “shop.” Truth be told it looked more like a tent thrown together in haste; odds and ends strewn across a single table in the back. Among the strange items was a glimmering teal stone.
The shopkeeper noticed her attention. “Ioun stone,” he’d said, as he placed it in her grasp. When her fingers closed around it the markings on her exposed wrist glowed in response.
The Ioun Stone still gives her comfort, two years later. Carmelli feels like she knows herself a little better when she holds it in her hand.
The African Renaissance Monument in Senegal, larger that the Eiffel tower and the statue of liberty .. Things you don’t see in mainstream media. @KrystVegaNeteru
This is beautiful.
I think this picture better illustrates the size of that monument.
I never even knew this existed this makes me so happy to find out about it
you really gotta be a fool to say tchaikovsky wasn’t gay. the man literally fired cannons in his 1812 overture, do you really think a straight man could achieve that drama? that panache? that power? grow up
this was ghostwritten by captain raymond holt.
Didn’t Ken Russel make a movie about him and the fact he was gay or bi?
Okay but Tchaikovsky was actually gay???????????? He wrote his violin concerto for a violinist he was super smitten with. Literally confirmed gay
yeah, that stuff wasn’t a secret
yupyupyup. also his symphony no. 6 (the “pathetique”) is regarded as a gay classic (and was used in a scene in the film adaptation of EM Forster’s “Maurice” for its significance to the audience like. it’s …not only was Tschaikovsky literally confirmed gay but he has achieved Status as a Symbolic Legendary Gay and thus his music is as well)
