Shiro and Dalinar are the Same Person (VLD and Oathbringer Spoilers Below)

So I was looking at this gorgeous piece of artwork by @botanicaxu , and I came to a stunning realization.

Dalinar and Shiro are the same person.

Hear me out.

They are both buff dad dreamboats.

Both have fandom names which highlight their dad status (Space Dad and Dadinar, Highprince of Dads).

Both are capable warriors, and could be considered the best of their respective generations.

Both are a leader and mentor figure to a bunch of crazy teenagers who are responsible for saving the world/universe.

In particular, both are a personal hero/mentor to a broody lone wolf teenager who they groom to take their place (Keith/Kaladin).

Both would totally spend their morning doing push-ups instead of sleeping in.

Both are called “Champion” by an antagonist, and both resist attempts for said antagonists to turn them into weapons.

Both unintentionally (directly in Dalinars case, indirectly in Shiro’s case) caused the death of a romantic partner.

At the end of the latest chapter in their respective series, both channel forces they don’t understand and have a moment of awesome that turns the tides and saves the day (Atlas/Honor’s Perpendicularity).

Both would definitely choose “Paladin” every time they play DnD.

I rest my case. Dalinar and Shiro are both Dad heroes. Thank-you.
