Holy shit. I just realized John said he was a motivational speaker, and he ‘told people what they needed to hear’. Griffin at the end described what a bard was. That their music had magic called inspiration and it ‘tells people what they need to hear in that moment.’ Johnanns song is literally the positive opposite of the hunger. John motivated his universe into collective nihilism. Johann inspired his universe into collective hope.
