I was asked to do a post about all the WLW in Destiny 2, mostly out of the hope that people will pull an Overwatch and possibly write some fic about them whether or not they play the game.

Note: A few of these characters are (currently) dead. Destiny’s timeline spans thousands and thousands of years, and as a result, not all of them have lived to the present day. They were still gay and awesome, though, so I have to include them. Destiny 2’s lead writer happens to be a lesbian too, and I feel like these cases were handled with care.

This is also a really long post, because I wanted to include all the canon I could find. Be warned if you’re opening it on mobile.

For anyone watching out, this post definitely has Forsaken spoilers under the cut. Lore entries are referenced from Ishtar Collective.
