Yan Qin Weng  aka Loika
is a designer from Sydney, Australia. She graduated from the University
of Technology, Sydney with a B. Design in Visual Communication and
First Class Honours.

I make sanctuaries for myself from the places in my head –
mountain ranges, narrow alleyways, canopy shadows. If stories were air
then I’d breathe my best with a pen in hand and a blank canvas in front.
My
highest passion is to draw, but I’m also fond of design, writing,
coding and problem solving. I always try to put the best of myself in
what I create so that I may love the work I produce.

A new portrait commission, and something to share!  I actually have a bunch of portrait jobs right now (which is awesome, portraits are pretty much my favourite thing) but most of them are for various companies and thus under NDA.  This is another private commission for Chelbi Daily, who has hired me to paint cool ladies before, and believe me, I always deeply appreciate Cool Lady Painting Jobs.
