Another day, another capslock conversation about all the ways minimal tweaking (usually in point of view or minor plot threads) could have made Civil War an exponentially better movie

things i am still stuck on:

can you even imagine how awesome it would have been for rhodey and tony to be on opposite sides of that conflict because of building on previous characterization in the IM franchise? And how devastating that would be for Tony emotionally in the wake of That Hot Mess Of Plot Contrivance that is the Pepper breakup?

I mean, I still think it’s inappropriate that a Captain America movie was focusing on Tony’s emotional vulnerability instead of on Steve’s or literally anyone else on Team America, but if you’re going to go there, at least commit to it and wreak as much havoc as possible.
