Mighty Nein Age Headcanons

(With some basis in canon but mostly just in my own head)

Caleb – 33: This is both canon and makes perfect sense. He’s the oldest of the group and absolutely does not want that title. Fluctuates wildly between “there is no way in hell I am older than these people I have no idea what I’m doing” and “these children are going to get me killed”.

Fjord – 30: Juuust hit the big three-zero and is mildly horrified about it. Constantly posturing as ‘An Adult™’ because he feels like he should be one by now but really has no idea what he’s doing. Hangs out with Caleb as the “grownups” as if he doesn’t still go along with whatever stupid shit the others come up with at the drop of a hat.

Molly & Yasha – 28/29: Just teetering at the tail end of their twenties and dealing with it in wildly different ways. Molly’s still trying to cram in every possible reckless life experience he can, and Yasha both acts and feels like she has transcended the mortal concept of age. They’re both still young and dumb at heart though.

Beau & Jester – 24/26: They both definitely fall somewhere in the range of “just got out of college and have to be fully responsible for myself for the first time and oh god it sucks help”. Still at the age where they feel immortal and completely divorced from any and all consequences. 100% enable each other’s stupid ideas as to what reasonable adult behavior is.

Nott – 16/18: Angry teenager who had to grow up way too fast and is ready to fight the whole world because of it. Desperate to be taken seriously. Has so much room in her young heart and feels things so, so strongly. Consequences don’t exist because the future is a vague concept that might not even be real.
