People saying crap about Antoni for teaching people basic cooking are exhausting??? He’s working with people with usually zero cooking skills or people who have no time to spend in the kitchen so teaching them basic and easy stuff is the best way to get them into cooking??

and @ all the people who are all “what does karamo even do isn’t he supposed to be the culture guy???” like he’s trained as a social worker and he gets repressed straight men to talk about their feelings like that is not nothing and honestly?? positive masculinity is the culture that he gives these guys and it’s SO important

In an interview Karamo and Tan talk about how what we see in the show is just a very, very small glimpse at what happens. They most of the day, every day, for a week with the client. And then they set up the sources for them to continue using after the show. Never mind the fact that they keep in contact with them and talk to all the people on a regular basis. 

Just because you don’t see them doing things in the show doesn’t mean they’re not doing it. It just means it was edited out.
