you know, one of the saddest parts of this whole “pink diamond was rose quartz” thing, is that pink was SO SURE the other diamonds wouldn’t miss her. it didn’t even occur to her that they would try and avenge her, she thought that staging her own murder was the best way to get them to leave her alone. The whole character is just so completely tragic.
